In some orthodontic cases, treatment may be limited to one arch only at patient's request. Notice in this case severe crowding in the lower arch. A lower incisor (front tooth) was removed to alleviate the existing crowding and eliminate enamel wear due to an ``end to end" type bite.
Due to the lack of space in the mixed dentition , sometimes the canine tooth (or others) can become trapped and unable to come down into the mouth. With the help of a surgical procedure and the concealed braces, we were able to bring the tooth down and save the patient from needing a bridge or an implant to replace the impacted tooth.
